Referral for Evaluation

The Northampton Public Schools has a continuum of supports for students. If you have concerns about your child's performance in school or development, please reach out to the points of contact listed to the right. 

Additionally, if you have concerns about your child's development and suspect that they may have a disability you can request a special education evaluation. 

While speaking with you, staff will complete a referral form (linked below) to individualize your child's evaluation. This form includes questions about your child's strengths, their language, developmental and health history, and specific questions about your areas of concern.
